He's in St Louis right now. He'll be participating in the Skills Competition at the Frozen Four on Friday, along with fellow Avs prospect Mark McCutcheon.

AM 560 just reported that Hensick has signed. Sorry if I missed this posted somewhere else already.

Great news

The Avs need to sign as many prospects as they can for their AHL team, and who knows, some of them will have a chance to get a spot in the NHL.

On the other hand, with our late run, I would assume FG will try to keep the team quite the same as this season, signing Arnason and MacLean who also deserve to stay with the Avs, assuming the price is right. Not sure there will be many open spots for rookies next season. Not to say the Avs will probably try to sign one big UFA forward like Forsberg, Smyth or even Drury. I could see Svatos beeing the odd man out there.

But we defenitly need one big UFA defenseman first, and there are not many available, and the Avs need to handle the Theo situation too

Well I guess this is going to be another boring off season.
