Some more quick thoughts:

11) To echo John Micheletti (?): Straka really seems to be coming on, and it's only a matter of time before his pucks start to eat twine

12) Nice that our "stars" are clicking and burying the puck

13) Callahan, Girardi, Pock, Toots, Avery, Henke, Prucha, Hossa is look like a GREAT core to build around

Henke saying ALL the right things: thinking about tomorrow; haven't done anything yet; tomorrow is a huge game; etc.

Yeah, also, even if he isn't scoring, he is filling such a important role on that line. He gets them up ice so many times. Avery and Shanny are great in the attacking zone, though the biggest reason why they get to spend time their is Straka. ATL really doesn't got a player type like Straka on the roster and that hurt them allot.

His first NHL playoff shutout.
He already has the SEL record
6 SO in 14 games ...

But it was even more nice to see Nylander circle with the puck and scoring a playoff hat-trick

Anyone know if that baby Kovalchuk is looking at some sort of suspension for fighting behind his visor?

WOW...
Beginning of the day, I was feeling alright about my decision not to spend 200 bucks on stubhub and travel three hours to be at this game... Right now, I'm kicking myself for not doing it... What an effort. If this team can keep this going, there's no telling what can happen. They have shrugged off the Thrashers best efforts and kept going. I love this team right now. GO RANGERS!!!

Largest Rangers margin of victory since 1981 against the Kings in a 10-3 game.

Nylander has never advanced to the second round.

How about for throwing a punch with a gloved hand?
