The least nerve racking Ranger game I've watched in a while....Great game by Nyls and Jagr...and way to go Lundqvist (1st playoff shutout)

I'll be honest, I was REALLY nervous throughout the day today. I worked a double (6 AM - 8 PM...14 hour shift ) and had a lot of time to think about this game lol. When I got home from work and turned on the TV and saw 4-0, I was almost in tears.

I love this team.

I've been in class all night. Does anyone want to fill me in on what the hell happened at the end of the 2nd and 3 mins into the 3rd?

Man, that was such an awesome game. Calahan has a real bright future, and Nylander has to be the most underpaid player in the league. Just Awesome.

I think that Nyls will be a Ranger next year, with a decent pay ...

It's damn cool to JJ calm, smiling, enjoying this. it was not to long he was languishing in D.C. So glad one of his goals in his career was to play and win in the big apple. One of the Best "stars" we've ever had on this team!

Hey guys I got home from play practice just right now. I didnt get to catch a single second of the game, nor the game tomorrow either.

Anyway, I have a few questions:

1) When did Lehtonen get yanked?
2) Did the Thrashers ever have a chance?
3) When is Rangers in 60 gonna be on tonight? I checked TV guide channel, and there is something on at 11pm that Im going to watch, but is that Rangers in 60?

Thanks.

This was all to similar to the first two playoff games against the Islanders in '94. Those games were on ABC and ESPN for all the world to see, which was nice, especially chasing Hextall...of course back-to-back 6-0 @ss-kickings against the a-holes was something special!

BTW, that's two 7-0 wins within the last month (against Boston)...

1)Suprisingly, they kept Lehtonen in the whole game
2)Not to sound arrogant but the Thrashers never stood a chance. The Rangers just dominated from the opening whistle.
3)I think Rangers in 60 is on after MSG NY, but not positive.

During the first 10 minutes yes, but they gave up very early.

I noticed that, and its a shame... I suppose when the 3 Canadian teams are playing on the same night, things could have been lost (TSN gave Canadians the MSG feed tonight too, instead of their own crew).

So between 47.6 & 56.b, shouldn't Kovy NOT be allowed to play tomorrow?

I just wanted to congratulate you guys.

I know the series isn't over, but I would be seriously shocked if you lost. It won't happen.

I serverely underestimated you guys this series, and they proved me wrong.

So yeah, congrats.

43.b says:
In addition to the match penalty, the player shall be automatically suspended from further competition until the Commissioner has ruled on the issue.

But, I don't think he was given a match (couldn't hear the pa over the crowd, Sam didn't mention it). I'm not sure Bettman or Campbell will/can do anything.

I am so mad at TSN. With 6 minutes left they switched over to the Wild/Ducks game. I missed Nylander's hattrick!!
