Actually, Ryan Callahan is doing a fine job in place of Hall. The Rangers made four acquisitions in the off-season - Shanny, Cullen, Ward and Hall. Two worked, two didn't. But, they fixed the Ward problem with Mara, brought up Callahan to replace Hall, (and found Callahan's temporary replacement in Hartford...that being Bourret), and, even addressed the 2nd line center problem by getting Avery, which put teeth into the 2nd line.

Wondering that myself... Anyway, as most have stated, I prefer what we have now to what we had 3 months ago.

I liked the Hall for Moore trade.

I really liked the Hall for Dupuis trade.

I loved the Dupuis for Bourett trade.

Agreed. Great way of putting the reactions as well. Same as mine.

What do you miss about Dominic Moore? He was a gritty player, but we have better players who serve the same purpose. And as SBOB put it, we basically traded Moore for Bourret, something I'd do any day of the week. Players like Dom can be found all over the place, but Bourret has the potential to be a lot more.

I missed his PK ability...

But, as stated in my post, I am glad we have Bourret instead of Moore.. or hall.. or a 3rd round pick... or all of the above!!!

Dom Moore's are a dime a dozen, and I thought that the Hall trade like many would bring us scoring, but I felt that it could hurt the chemistry and overall team defense...

I also dont miss him shooting all the time and never passing on a 2-0

My sentiments exactly...

And now the Wild are suffering with both of them (who are both scratched when they need a "tougher" lineup), oh how the tides turn...

This has been beat to death by me, But Do was a little more than the above stated, He had some great leadership qulaitys, I still beleive that he is going to fine a decent scoring touch as his game evloves.

Considering the fact that that's Hall's highlight reel for the season, i think I'll go ahead and keep Bourette...

I'd rather take Bourret right now. Especially with the chemistry he had with Immonen and Dawes.
