I like Toots, but at this point it may not be such a bad thing, right now he is just a penalty waiting to happen LOL, and he just doesn't have much offensive ability.

My prediction:

Obvisously if we lose tonight we are done.

I think if we win tonight, we take the series with 3 straight wins. We find a way to win our first game on the road and take game 7 at home. That is my prediction.

It will be a fragile crowd tonight....it is IMPERATIVE that we score the first goal tonight and play out of the box like we have some heart.

Otherwise the place will become a tomb very quickly.

We won't beat the Sharks if they score more than 2 goals. If we keep them at 2 or less, we will win. This goes for the rest of the series.

Kariya needs to wake the ¤¤¤¤ up, put him, Foppa and Radulov on the first line.

Btw, neither of these teams have good enough blueliners to actually win the SC, atleast that´s my personal opinion.

I agree that neither of these teams will win the SC, but for different reasons....

Any word on Erat's status? I'm pessimistic, but...you know.

Exactly right...it is the No. 1 key to the game as far as I'm concerned. We are at home...we have the advantage of having last line change...we should have the advantage of feeding off of our crowd as well.

Now, the Predators certainly need to hold up there end of the bargin as well. They need to come out fired up, take the hits necessary to get the puck deep in the San Jose territory behind their defense and then go on the prowl looking to pay back some of those hits on our defensemen and forwards with some solid body-checks of our own.

As difficult as this is to ask...if you are in attendance tonight and San Jose does score first...let's not give up. Stand up and support your team. The game is 60 minutes long and has been proven so many times...it ain't over till the fat lady sings and the clock reads "0:00.0". That being said, I think the building should get louder if the players need a little extra boost of energy.

Personally, I'm a bit relieved that Jordin will not be in the lineup. It is unfortunate that he is injured, but...he is drawing penalties on clean plays due to his reputation and as unfair as that is...it is happening and it is something that we cannot afford to be doing. I really don't want to see Hordichuk in the lineup in Jordin's place though...so...let's see what transpires.

Should be a great game. Remember, 8:00 PM start.

Erat Possible, Tootoo Doubtful, Sullivan Out, Leahy Recalled

So the update after the morning skate is as follows.

Erat skated this morning and said that he felt better, but wasn't positive he would play tonight, but would probably play in the next game of this series.

Tootoo tried to skate this morning, but didn't have much success and was noticably limping...he is a game-time decision (yeah, right!).

Sullivan skated on his own again after practice and said that he feels like he is close, but would be out tonight. Sully says he is hoping to return to the lineup in either Game 6 or 7 of this series or in the second round.

With all of our injuries...Patrick Leahy has been recalled from Milwaukee. Leahy, as you might all remember, is a defensive-specialist with some good size. Welcome to the fourth line tonight #28.

Judging by those injury quotes, the Predators sound pretty confident there is going to be a game 6. Hopefully they take this confidence to the ice, don't crap the bed and get the job done tonight.

You'll need to re-post this in each of the remaining GDT in this series.

Over Hordi and Abid? Or, is Abid in the line-up regardless? I think I am falling behind on all of the injuries this week.

I think Abid is in regardless, and Leahy is if Erat can't go.

- Ron Wilson is outcoaching Bary Trotz....again.
- Sharks are getting secondary scoring(Rismiller, Clowe etc.)
- Nabokov has been better then Vokoun...slightly
- The Preds like lying..."We need to stop takeing penalties" I think they like takeing
penalties.

This one made me laugh.

I somehow got a ticket.

Hopefully tonight won't be the last time we see them till October.

The biggest factor, in my opinion, is the loss of Sullivan. He's simply been our best player since we acquired him '04. You don't replace a player like that, you just hope you have the depth to withstand his loss. At this point, we simply don't.
