GDT | 4/20 | Bruins @ Pack | 7:00pm |‎ Game 2

Pack Lead Series 1-0
Game 1: Pack win 5-1 (Boxscore)

The Dawes, Bourret, and Immonen line ran the show last game. Lets hope they do the same and get some additional help. I'll be watching so i'll give updates.

Listen to the game live

3-2!

Unbelievable play by the Dawes/Immo/Bourret line!

Bourret comes in the zone with the puck, totally undresses the defenseman to get around him, sends a pass over to Immonen, who fakes the shot and instead passes to Dawes to puts it in the empty net on his knees!

I love this line.

They just showed the Jessiman goal...he came in along the goal line, went about 2 inches behind the line and shot it in off the goalie and in..nice goal! Guess the goalie thought he was going to pass.

4-2 on an EN goal. Pack lose this one, series tied at 1.

Pack didnt show up in the 1st period which cost them the game..it was pretty much all them in the 3rd but it was 2 little 2 late.

Bobby was getting some major playing time at the end of the game..they must be very high on him.

Good number of chances in the last period but they didn't capitalize. Providence played one hell of a game. They played very well against that top line. The team needs to find other ways to score though. Hugh's goal was pretty much luck at that angle. The rest of the guys aren't producing, and you can't count on Immonen, Dawes, and Bourret to do everything. Ten shots through the first two periods isn't Wolf Pack hockey. Credit to the Bruins. Also Mark Lee sucks.

And also, I hate every stupid fan who thinks the tripping penalties aren't penalties. You know, sometimes they are the right call.

Well, the team heads to Providence for three games.

My God. The referees missed so many potential penalties against Providence. I swear the Pack got shafted somewhere down the line tonight. Two 5-on-3 opportunities for the baby B's (with one successful goal). The stripes had a field day.

I'm out of the house for tomorrow's game (no internet access where I'll be), but will find out if we did a better job once returning from my destination. I'm praying we do much better.

(And a side note: Last time I heard the voice of the in-game announcer, it was about two or three seasons ago. Strange hearing him back doing a Pack game.)

You hit the nail right on the head Mandy. The Pack got shafted big time tonight by the referees. It was absolutely awful the calls they missed. The zebras had a field day for sure and the referee wasnt even a Koharski. Here's to hoping the Pack win in Providence now and that referee Frederic L'Ecuyer isnt refereeing anymore games this series.

I missed the 2nd and half the 3rd, but I did see the missed High sticking penalty on Bobby late in the 3rd when the Bruins were already down a man. The ref was right in front of it and I was pretty shocked (like the announcers) that he missed it...or didn't call it.

But hey...that's the way the cookie crumbles...I expect the pack to come out extremely strong for game 3 and dominate.

Quit blaming the ref for not seeing every call. I doubt Bobby even got hit in the face. The missed one on Dawes was excusable, it was way behind the play. Every call made on the Pack was acceptable by me. We got that late powerplay at the end of the game, which I considered LUCKY AS HELL, because it wasn't even too obvious of a call.

Not blaming the ref (for one there is only one out there so hes def. going to miss stuff)...but the call on Dawes was the right call and a must call in the "new" NHL/AHL...it was a hook, stick parallel to the ice and he tugged him a bit. So that was a good call.

The better team will win this series..I have no doubt the Pack will win it which is why I am not really pissed tonight. The pack WILL WIN...mark my words. They have way too much talent up front and in goal not to.

I don't know, if they keep relying on this top line, they won't go anywhere. Time for the rest of the bunch to net some pucks. I love this group a lot and I think it'll all come around in the next few games. They should win.

The crowd was def not happy with the Ref. Bourret, Dawes and Hugh looked very good, and I think Corey Potter is going to be a player.

Well, of course they aren't going to be happy with it, but he wasn't that bad. I've seen worse and less booing than that.

The 2-3-2 format really hurts the pack...

Realistically they are going back to Hartford down 3-2.....
