Difficult question about Kozlov trade - Jun. 22, 2002
Okay, bascially the trade was Vyacheslav Kozlov and a 2nd to ATL and a 2nd and 3rd to BUF. My problem is with the year of the picks, and who the picks turned into.
TSN says the picks were for 2003, and that the 2nd going to ATL turned into Konstantin Glazachev (NSH). The 2nd going to BUF turned into Kamil Kreps (FLA) and the 3rd became Tyler Redenbach (PHX). But the site also says that the pick that became Redenbach was traded to PHI in the Lessard deal earlier in the year.
The OG&RB in one place says the picks were for 2003, and in other place says 2002.
This sounds pretty unimportant, but can anyone set me straight (hopefully with some online proof)? Which picks were these and who did they become?
Buffalo Sabres traded Vyacheslav Kozlov and a 2nd round selection (later traded to Nashville - Nashville selected Konstantin Glazachev) in 2003 to the Atlanta Thrashers for a 2nd (later traded to Florida - Florida selected Kamil Kreps) and 3rd (later traded to Phoenix - Phoenix selected Tyler Redenbach) round selections in 2003.
