If by "let it go", you mean that you responded to the first response within two minutes, then I agree.

That was bad in the twin-size-mattress-pad days where every goalie looked like an extra for a Michelin commercial. It's amazing they could even get close enough together without their pads coming in the way.
I've never really known that to be true. I've heard a lot of fans say the guy who ends up on top when they fall to the ice could be considered the hands-down winner, too. I personally don't think either is very accurate, and that the number and quality of blows landed should be taken into consideration. I know others who hold that view as well. So no, I wouldn't say it's "always viewed as a loss."

And come on. You can't tell me that you didn't expect a Red Wings fan coming on to an Avs board and taking a jab at Patrick Roy to start a fight

It's Budaj. From my site (http://hockeygoalies.org/bio/budaj.html):

"On November 12, 2004, Peter was ejected from Hershey's AHL game at Providence for fighting Bruins netminder Hannu Toivonen with 4:08 remaining in the second period. "

You can't ban someone for being annoying.

I did not know that making a weak argument, about a guy who is 5th or so on th all-time wins list, in response to someone pointing out your unappreciated joke was contributing something meaningful to this thread.
