O god. Give it up. If Irbe plays do you actually think he is a better option than Tellqvist? If Belfour is gone then the Leafs won't go past the first round.

I think I'd feel better with Kidd than Irbe...

you never know
an veteran goalie with playoff experience might be all they'd be looking for, if anything.
it would interesting to see if he plays tomoro

Pass.
Irbe isn't good enough to take us very far in the playoffs, and I'm dubious that he's much if at all an upgrade over Tellqvist/Kidd.

Irbe's not playing tommorow.

Peter Laviolette was on Leafs Lunch and he said that Weekes will definitely play against the Leafs.

Weekes would be a nice pickup.

No, no. I laid out SEVERAL better options. Fernandez, Johnson, Gerber, McLennan, Brathwaite, Shields...all possibilities and all upgrades.

Let's get a move on!

Do we really need to see Irbe run about the ice imagining he is Brodeur? He is the worst puck handler of any goalie, even worse than Cujo.

It really does not matter. Whether it be Irbe or any one of the other options out there, this team will not be able to do well in the playoffs without Ed Belfour

Last time I checked Irbe has exp. in the Stanley Cup finals, how far has Kidd been?

Irbe is much better goalie then Kidd, the only reason he's not in the NHL is because of his contract. IMO Philly would've been better off with Irbe over Burke.

Now Tellqvist on the other hand, I'd take him over Irbe for sure.

Right on.

I don't see how anyone can see Irbe as anything but an upgrade over Kidd. Everyone remembers how well Cu-Hoe played in that Carolina series, yet seem to forget that he was the second best goalie in that series.

Tellqvist is an X factor, however. He's played well, and is yet to lose this year, and the guys seem confident in front of him.

Yeah, only problem is that was then, this is now. I mean, teams don't stick goalies with major league salaries in the ECHL for no reason. Irbe sucks.
