Who can study for finals on a day like today? Certainly not me.

The team is loose and ready to go.

Quote:
One day after declaring that he had already talked himself into hating each and every Sabre, Avery was filling the net behind Henrik Lundqvist this morning -- and letting the goaltender hear about each and every puck that tickled twine.

"Bleep, I'm hot!" Avery shouted at one point.

Of course, Avery took some grief in the lockerroom as Brendan Shanahan mocked him from across the room as cameras and notebooks surrounded Avery.

"Bring those cameras over here! I've got a hate on!" Shanahan shouted.

Later, when the locker room had about emptied out, Jaromir Jagr razzed Lundqvist.

"You were awful today! Just awful!" a grinning Jagr told Lundqvist. "Sean Avery scores seven goals on eight shots? A tough guy? That's embarrassing."

Avery, in the weight room, poked his head out and said, "Jags, I can hear everything you're saying!"

No, this team does not appear tight on the verge of the franchise's first trip into the second round in 10 years.

That's great to see! Here is where veteran leadership shows up. Keeping the guys loose, but focused!

Psyched to see the return of Hollywood! (sounds like a Russ Meyer movie from the 70's). I just he doesn't roast us w/ a hitting from behind penalty. Dman glad to see him back though!

Is it 7:00 yet!

So pumped to tonights game. I love these reporter blogs, you get to hear about Avery, Jagr, and Shanny being such characters.

Hey guys. I'm a Stars fan first and foremost, but since theyre out I'm pulling for the Rangers(my 2nd favorite team). I honestly think they have a shot at taking out the Sabres. Buffalo is by far the most overrated team in the league and pray to god you guys can take them out so that the media will stop bustin nuts over them like they have been all year. They would have been hard pressed to even win a division out in the west. They have good forwards, but theyre defense is only OK. You guys have a better goalie than them for sure. Lets Go Rangers!

Once again, I feel like a broken record for the past 2 months, we're looking at the biggest game of the season.

Would love to see the team come out and set the tempo of the game early, put the pressure on the Sabres. You have to believe that the HSBC Arena will be rocking and I would love nothing more then having the crowd taken out of the game early.

Let's Get This Party Started!!

Drop The Puck!!

Let's go Rangers!!

Go to any bar in town they all have VS. just find one that's not packed (not hard on a wednesday) and ask them to switch one of the TVs.
