how much did we miss Regehr?

i think with the presence of regehr we would've had far less shots thrown at us, because thats basically what this whole series came down to.

I would agree, but overall it probably would not have turned the series.

Actually, i dont think the presence of Regehr on ice during the series would make us play much better. If he was ok, he would play with Stuart. Warrener took his place and he played solid games so this defence pair wouldnt be much different. As for Dion, its difficult question, he didnt play well, however, i dont think he was playing bad all the time. he just played the same as other guys like stuart and warrener but sometimes he made crucial mistake. For instance in Game 5 those 2 mistakes in our PP that led to 2 detroit goals decided that match. I dont understand why Jim decided to make him #1-2 dman (according to icetime). He deserved something like #4 or maybe #5-6 slot.

A guy like Regehr is priceless in the playoffs. He's also our best defenseman I would have to say we sorely missed him.

I think we missed me alot, I don't think the outcome would have changed but we wouldn't have looked as horrible with a healthy Regehr in the line up.
