Waw, Mike and the Mad Dog are more ridiculous than I thought. Maybe they got the magical TSN feed?

Feck those ********! They know absolutely nothing about hockey, and where were they when Rachuneks goal was disallowed?

And to Buffalo's 6 straight PPs in game 3, and to Pominville for batting the puck in the net with his hand, and to Roy when he dove like super man and didnt get called, and to the guy who high sticked Malik but Malik ended up with the penalty, and to Jagr who gets hooked, held, slashed all game long with no call but as soon as he touches someone it's a penalty, even if they just step on his stick and dive like super man.

But then again, the Sabres have to play on the BIG BAD MEAN NASTY ICE at the Garden, which only hurts their team, no one else. So I guess Wilbon has a point, Rangers deserve to lose even though they have totally outplayed Buffalo from game 2 on.

This picture says a ton about how close Lundqvists pad is to the goal line.

I guess you might squezz the puck into the net if you put it on the high heel right at the hook, but it doesn't look like it goes in high heel on the overhead cam.

Because that call didn't directly affect the outcome of the game maybe?

And if they said it was no goal, you'd be praising them instead of calling them "********" who "know absolutely nothing about hockey".

The call didn't affect the outcome...in hindsight. It still was an awful call that could've easily cost the Rangers the game.

How so? The Briere No-goal prevented game 4 from going to overtime and the Rachunek No-goal ment that game 3 did go to overtime. Both where, IMO, goals. So a bad call gave the Sabres a chance to win Game 3 in overtime and a bad call denied them a chance to win game 4 in overtime. It's a wash as far as I'm concerned.

The fact that Buffalo didn't take advantage of the gift that was given to them in game 3 doesn't make the importance of that call any lesser.

Only thing I disagree with is that I thought last night's call was correct.

whether or not the call was technically correct is differant than whether or not it was a goal. Legally speaking it may have been impossible to overturn the on ice decision, but using common sense I just can't see how it wasn't a goal.

No, it's hard as hell to wrap the puck around, take it from the back to the front as fast as he did. It was actually pretty incredible that he pulled it from back to front so quickly.

Okay yeah, I'm on board with you there. I think it most likely did cross the line... Just no evidence to say that conclusively. We're on the same page then.

No, even if they did agree with us, we Ranger fans would NEVER praise Mike and the Mad Dog, they are hockey brain dead.

First of all, kudos for seeing what everyone else is seeing rather than hoping the video review judge makes a call that isn't based on the rules as they are now.

Second, when Briere started to take the shot Lundqvist was nowhere near, he couldn't have anticipated Lundqvist's would get there so quickly.

"I'm right, you're wrong I win!, I win!" TK is loser. I cannot stand those two. The only time they talk hockey is if there is any sort of controversary they can use to bash the game. They should just stick to what they know, women's tennis.
