Ryan Callahan added to US roster in WHC

I guess he will play today at 12:15 against Finland in the QF. This is good for both Callahan and Rangers, all experience is good experience.

i am surprised and very happy about this. great to get some more experience playing some of the best teams in the world. hopefully he gets to face russia

Wasn't he stopped by the Rangers physician because of his knee problem? He was officially added to the Russian roster though.

Hmmmm....this is a tough one. Whom to root for: Finland or the US? Normally I'd root for Finland, because the tournament is more important for them, but now that Callahan is in there...

That is great for Ryan. I am sure he has already learned so much this year with the run to get into the playoffs, and then the actual playoff run he had with the Rangers. Now to get to play for Team USA in the WHC on top of it, should really keep showing him great things about leadership and pressure. Definintly future captain material.

He's a healthy scratch...long way to travel to be a scratch!

These freakin airlines. Every tournament somebodys equipments/sticks gets "lost".

How hard can it be to ship the stuff to the right country atleast?
