FUN drills for kids (under 10)

To make this short and simple. I will be coaching a ball/deck hockey team ages 7-9 at a local YMCA. We have 2 practices before games start. I was hoping i could get some advice on drills to help teach the kids while still keeping it fun. I was trying to think of ways to convert skill drills into little games. I have never coached kids this young before but i know that they lose interest and don't stay focused if not kept active. I want to avoid making them stand in lines so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
