Whose your pick for a trade

For all the names out there that teams are trying to trade, who is your pick if Armstong called you today and gave yoou full authority to make the trade.. This is player(s) we get and player(s) we give up...

And since I am not smart enough to judge talent... I will not post a proposal.

Dream scenario: Hedican, O'neil for Erskine and kapanen and second in 2005
Likely scenario : Hedican for Erskine Erskine is done here and jancevski has likely passed him in eyes of organization

Suprising you would give Daley up with Miets for Sergei. I would try to get them to take perhaps Erskine, kaps and a high pick. I still think O'neill or Lang is a better fit while obtaining Hedican as depth.

You could try, but hey wouldn't bite. As much as I hate giving up Daley as well as Miets, that would be his price. We can't get him for anything less..

He will be for us to get anywhere in the playoffs. Maybe at the end of the season. Though the prospect should be of a similar mould as we would really lack any size after that.

Well for one because he has been our best center.. Trading Arnott is totally out of the question.

As with many, I think trading Arnott is out of the question.. Nobody ever thought Hatcher would leave Dallas. well Modano is a Michigan native as well and also 33 yrs old..Arnott could be our #1 C for a long time to come..

Not really.. Gonchar is 29 and is in the mids of his prime. He's not a pending UFA and would require quite some talent in return. That, and I didn't offer half what you did..

You however, proposed Daley, Miettinen, Ott, Erskine, Bacashihua, 2nd, and then some for Brian Leetch. The same Leetch that has been bothered by injuries, turns 36 in a week, is a pending UFA and has an immensely expensive contract?

Purely for a playoff run, I would call Chicago and inquire about Berard and Atlanta and inquire about McEachern.

I agree, that if it ever clicks mentally in Jason's brain, that he has the potential to be one of the best centers in the NHL, however that is far from certain, and if we were to make a trade he'd be one of the few that would get us something good in return.
Sure he is playing well now, but as soon as he goes back into his slump, then he doesn't seem quite so valuable.
