I really honestly hope he fights Parker tonight. That would be an awesome fight. Neither of them do much offensivly so it is a good trade off.

Yeah, Naslund would work him.

Naslund is back?
I suppose I would care if I was a Canuck fan...

Or if you were a fan of the NHL, and like watching skilled players like Naslund instead of plumbers like Brad May.

naw man....
it would be too gruesome to watch "the brookbank" rip apart parker's helmet, tear him in half, pull out his underwear, stuff it into his mouth, tip his arms in knots with his legs and then throw him into the the suite boxes.

Apparently you don't care but I'm sure there are plenty of others who are somewhat interested in knowing that one of the League's best is back in the game.
It's always nice to think outside the box you know... or the Dome. :p

I made a thread awhile ago that Sakic is back and Canucks fan told me to put in the Avs forum?
Watch Naslund get injured again on Wednesday.

Well, I'm no Flames fan but I sure as hell would care if Iginla were hurt and/or got well again. He's a great player and a great guy. Same goes for Sundin (hate the leafs), Cheechoo (not a SJ fan really) etc. Have some respect for the players.

How does respect factor into it?
I respect Naslund as a player.
I just fail to see how his return warrants an entire thread about it on anything other than the Canucks forum.

Not to cry about the good old days, but a year or two ago people didn't complain about threads like this. I shouldn't have to outline why this might be interesting/informative to people who aren't 'nucks fans, and there's nothing wrong with having this thread on the NHL board. (That also goes for Avs-related threads)
