Selanne

Has he hinted towards retirement next year? I am getting numerous trade proposals for him and was wondering if I should cut bait!

I'd be very VERY surprised to see him retire this summer. He's coming off of two of the best years hes had in the decade, and his team has gone to the final four last year and possibly the cup this year.

Looking at him play now, I'd say he has two or three years easily left in the tank if he wants to keep going.

I don't think Selanne himself knows at this point.

I thought that the post was going to say, "...needs to step it up a notch."

yeah he can play for more than 1-2 season, but once he saied he want to retire on top and if ducks will win SC, he will be on top.
he needs motivation and if there will be some motivation in him we will see him once again
