I miss

I miss Sean Avery pissing off the other team
I miss Jaromir Jagr firing a one timer into the top corner of the net
I miss Brendan Shanahan sticking up for his teamates when no one else will
I miss Michael Nylander skating circles around everyone and dishing it off to Jagr for a goal
I miss Petr Prucha scoring off the rebound and looking like he just scored his first goal
I miss Martin Straka's evasiveness and quick moves
I miss Jed Ortmeyer working his ass off and giving up his body for the team
I miss Henrik Ludqvist making save after save and keeping us in the game
I miss Ryan Hollweg skating full speed and laying someone out
I miss Matt Cullen blazing past everyone and making pretty moves
I miss Colton Orr kicking the crap out of people
I miss Marcel Hossa's smooth moves in the shootout
I miss Ryan Callahan's big hits, his presence in front of the net and his awesome wrister from the faceoff circle
I miss Michael Rozsival playing 25 minutes a night and covering Malik's ass game in and game out
I miss Marek Malik's breakout passes for breakaways
I miss Paul Mara's heavy shot from the point
I miss Thomas Pock's clutch goals
I miss Dan Girardi's incredibly smooth and calm play on Defense
I miss Fedor Tyutin's hipchecks

Most of all I miss New York Rangers hockey! Let's Go Rangers! Let this damn offseason be over already!

I miss hearing a bunch of crazy Ranger fans making the trip to Nassau Coliseum and joining in a chorus to chant "Beat Your Wife, Potvin, Beat Your Wife!" and have it heard on TV.

I've tried for years to get that chant going at the Garden, and then, a bunch of crazy fanatics get it going at THE COLISEUM?!?!

DoubleYew-Tee-Eff Mate?

But, none-the-less, hearing that on MSG was just great.

...taking a seat for Tomas Pck?

...not making as many mistakes as Malik (but not making as many good plays, either)?

Got hurt and gave some well deserved ice time to Pock.

When Karel started shooting from the blue line, his potential value to the team became a lot clearer. Unfortunately, those point shots came too late and didn't return when he came back from injury.

This is a thread, by the way, probably the most generally positive I've seen on this board in...well...in a long time, anyway.

Ya bunch of Rachunek haters!

He made some huge defensive plays for us this year, and had a real strong streak of scoring before his injury. I'm probably alone, but I'd love to see him come back.

I miss them alot too..I enjoyed Game 3 of the finals but it's just not the same with the Rangers watching it along with us.

Thankfully I'll be at the draft, so that will be awesome..and then free agency begins shortly. The good thing about hockey is as long as it seems the off-season is, it's pretty much the shortest off-season of any sport..so training camp will even start before you realize.
