The next 3 years

We have seen a transition from 2004 until now. Interested to see how close I can come to predicting the next 3 years..

2007-2008
Straka Nylander Jagr
Shanahan Drury Callahan
Avery Cullen Prucha
Dawes Betts Hossa/Orr

Rosival Malik
Tyutin Girardi
Mara Staal

Lundqvist
Esche

-Likely draft day trades involving Pock, Hollweg and Ortmeyer in some combination.
-Not sure where Hossa fits in, although I'd like to see more of
him with some top line minutes with Jagr to see if he can be somewhat of a true first line threat in the future. He will move up during injuries.
-Baranka needs a real opportunity.
-Like to see Dubinsky in for Betts, however unlikely.
- I see either Callahan, Dawes or Prucha getting traded as they all have somewhat similar size and styles.

2008-2009
Hossa Nylander Jagr
Dawes Drury Callahan
Avery Cullen Prucha
Bourret Dubinsky Byers

Rosival Staal
Tyutin Girardi
Mara/Baranka Sauer

Lundqvist
Montoya/Esche

-We need alittle more size/height(Anaheim with Perry, Penner and Getzalf to name a few)

2009-2010
Hossa Drury Callahan
Avery Dubinsky Prucha
Dawes Cullen Byers
Jessimen Pyatt Dupont

Rosival Staal
Tyutin Girardi
Baranka Sauer

Lundqvist
Montoya

Sanguinetti may be close at this point..

Obviously may not even be close, but fun to look at nonetheless...

On your 2009/2010 roster you have all but 3 players drafted/developed by the Rangers. Don't see that happening. I think half of them will have been traded for other kids or better players.

I want Esche nowhere near this team.

That is all.

Did Bourret evaporate? By the end of your list he should be top 6.
