.
I think it's time that we start looking at those players that can really be boom or bust.
We're safe in the overall talent level department in terms of players, but we really needs that high level talent kind of kid and is we can move up in the draft this may not be a bad one to take a chance in.

If that's the route the Rangers intend to go, (which I have no problem with them doing), then I think they should target a kid like Max Pacioretty, (who's getting compared to Erik Cole), or a raw talent like Pat White, who looks to be a fast riser.
But, again, if Petrecki's on the board, I'd have a hard time passing him up.

That's a pity, that NYR haven't TOP 3 pick on this draft
Voracek could be ideal player for NYR - (he is from the same town and club as JJ #68)
For many czech people who know him, he looks similar to JJ (maybe not so good, but who knows
)
And can you imagine next season, how JJ is teaching Voracek how to play on the RW in NYR

Don't be surprised to see us draft Colton Gillies, who by the way is NOT Hugh Jessiman.
That is not a shot at Jessiman, just that they are different players.
I want a high risk/high reward forward(includes the above name) or a defenseman like Petrecki

Id take Colton Gillies. He has size and gets alot of pim so I assume he is physical. Played with Bahensky in the WHL.

Unfortunately he'd be gone by then. He's a top 5 pick at the least.

If Gillies lasted until the 2nd round, I wouldn't mind them moving up for him and using him as a defenseman. He played it a bit this year and really looked good as a defensive d-man.

Gillies and Sutter won't make it past the first round.

I think both really have the ability to fall out of the 1st. Although if Sutter falls to Calgary's pick, they will probably take him unless they want to disown him from the family or something.
