Very very good read. A very good article, I am impressed. If you haven't already seen it, take a look.
Yeah, a nice one. I'm really eager to see him next season (I'm assuming there is one until there isn't).
Frankly, I'll be plenty happy if he still has the occasional defensive lapse as long as he turns half of them into scoring opportunities. I suppose Lemaire would set me straight pretty quick, but I say let the defensemen take care of defense every once in a while.
I was a little shocked on that page to see the Wild's prospect listing, and O'Sullivan listed as 10th. Sorry, but I think he's a much better prospect than any of those blokes, except maybe Harding and Koivu.

According to the depth chart on that same page, you're right. I'm guessing different people did the list and the depth chart, or the list isn't in the order we think it is. (Seems like the depth chart person is a big Schutte fan, too.) The whole thing seems a little spurious to me, but that's probably too harsh, and it's not like I think I could do a better job or anything.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I've seen O'Sullivan play a lot this year and he's definitely on the right track to do a little something next year, or at least the year after.
Last Friday I saw him play vs. the London Knights (an exciting 4-3 OT win for London), and near the end of the second period he took a high sticking penalty that coach Gilbert called "lazy", and he didn't get on the ice for almost ten minutes into the third. When he got back out there he scored the tying goal on either his first or second shift back instead of sulking.
So, some kinks to work out, but encouraging progress overall.
Glen, which area of HF will you be covering? Will you be writing the Wild updates or OHL?
I gotta say though, that really was a great article. I didn't know about O'Sullivan's dad showing up at the draft etc or about the fight at the family reunion... Nicely constructed too, flowed real well.
Wow. I do not understand how you can continue to keep spitting out the same already been chewed misinformation. Is there some rule stating the Hockey's Future writers are not allowed to do their own research or have an original thought?
There are so many things wrong with this "article" I'm not sure where to begin. It's too bad you didn't take the time to check your sources for accuracy before you only narrowly avoided plagiarizing them. I would think it would be the least you could do if you're not planning on conducting your own research and reaching your own conclusions.
If you've already read the information then why keep reading the article? Just don't say anything at all if all you're going to do is say negative things about it.

I think it's wrong to continue spreading misinformation about a prospect. I hate the idea that other people who may not be as familiar with O'Sullivan will take your report at face value and not dig further until they hit the facts. It creates an unfair impression of one of the most outstanding players in the OHL. That's why I said something.

I read the article and thought it was well written. Now you put the credibility of the resource in question. I agree with Ceber and would add that if you are going to post something that questions the credibility of the author and the subject, you have a responsibility to set the record straight. Just posting that the information is dubious does not convince me that the article has missed the mark. Give examples of what is incorrect. I do not know you or the author of the article. However, the article contains data that I can process. All you have produced is innuendo and accusations.
I think there could be a strong chance of that happening. It just depends on which direction the Wild plan to lean next year. Do they start to play some of there young guys or do we keep milking the Parks, Dowds, Browns, and etc. for another year?
