SJ sharks new GM makes his first moves

Woke up early in the morning and did a lot of paper work with my team and players.

Too many UFAs/RFAs forced me to do lots of thinking.

Here are new sharks future plans:

Key Players:
Key UFA players, Scott Niedermayer and Peter Forsberg received huge offers. They need to spend some hours to think those. What I can told atm is that Scott Niedermayer offer makes him the best-paid defenseman in the league.

Goalies:
Osgood is under contract, but probably being traded during the season/preseason. But all depends will Huet accept the contract offer, which was also much more than he got atm. Aubin is shown door and he is available in the free agency.

Defense:
Jovanovski and Rivet, both highly paid defenseman but very useful. GM is thinking to trade one of them away of Niedermayer signs with sharks.
Behind those 3 comes younger players like Campoli and Aaron Johnson.
Sharks was forced to let Kim Johnsson go as he was searching around 2mil contract which would have been too much. also Odelein is free to go.
Last season draft in HSNHL brought to team two solid young defensemen, but GM is thinking to move up in the draft to get one more.

Forwards:
Lots of chances coming. Dvorak and Rupp didnt get a offer and will be available in the free agency. Greg Johnson and Wright will be sent to minors.

Dainius Zubrus might get a center role in the coming season, 1st or 2nd depends what foppa decide. Viktor Kozlov will run the 3rd line.

Four new wingers are coming from the minors, Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kastitsyn might take a second line roles if the preseason goes well. Kopecky and Ruzicka are looking for 4th line jobs. First line scoring job is given to Elias and Sullivan.
Hilbert and Devereaux (if they sign) will get a defensive line roles around Kozlov.

Payroll:

So far it all looks good, have to wait and see what kind of decisions my UFAs and RFAs made. If they all accept the offers, Sharks will be still under gap (44mil) and team will be very competive in next season.

Future:

GM is not totally going to rebuilding process yet. Good to have good experienced gore players like Roberts, Niedermayer, Forsberg, JovaCop and so on with good young players like Radulov, Campoli, Kastitsyn.

Trade Block:

Trade block is not long at the moment

Ed Jovanovski or Craig Rivet for younger and cheaper defenseman
Gary roberts for younger and cheaper player.
and my 18th overall I like to move upwards .. top 10 pick would be good to have
Kim Johnsson, JS Aubin if yu have room, make offers yu still have time to sign these guys
