I'm still discounting our Russians because they will not come over easily unless there is a promise of some sort (Kaigarodov). And I am not a Lee fan - have never seen him play. KDaug on the other hand is a Latvian sniper.

Mirnov, Zubov and Daugavins are all pretty close IMO. I know Daug is going to get his votes having played in the OHL, I know Mirnov is going to get his (vote if not votes) thanks to Fuhr , so I decided to give Zubov some love. They're all pretty equal in my mind though. Right up there with Foligno and Lee as well. Our top 5 can easily change in a matter of weeks.

Despite previously giving Daugavins the #3 vote, I have to say Josh Hennessy gets the edge because of his 'pro' experience. He's more likely to be an injury callup and he's already shown he can score in the AHL.

im assuming this is done, Kaspars Daugavins wins this round, and I can move on to #4?

Add Peter Regin to that list. He's top 10.

Hemsky like skills - an incredible puck handler without the finishing skills. But finishing is something he can learn with a change of attitude, so I hope Mucks can sign him to play in the AHL for a couple of seasons for a potentially bigger transition in the NHL.

He wont play in the AHL for a long time. After advice from Frans Nielsen Regin has decided to stay in Sweden until he is ready to move directly to the NHL.

Actually, they have a decent one right now: Pogge, Tlusty, Kulemin, Stralman....

I'm surprised that Lee was voted #2. I continue to be dissapointed in him (I'll admit largely based on his WJC).

Mirnov again, but it looks like Daugavins is taking this.
