I always assume that people on this board follow the draft and our prospects. Just looking at Hamilton I think you can rest assured that Gainey thinks the same way.

I am not that convinced... If you tell me he imporved his skating, then maybe... but if not, forget it. That type of player takes more time to develop (see Sutherby).

What do you think?
Isn't Yashin from Kalamazoo?

Well the team is on the hand of an American

Seriously, I don't care about the nationality I just want a winning team.....

I will like to see Arnott in our line-up or Shanahan but they just don't want to come.....

I just think that if you want to build a good playoff team, you need the good Canadian boys who understand what it takes to win a cup.

Dandy is from Quebec.

I mean, look at the Ducks, how many English Canadians do they have?

This type of misguided thinking should not be tolerated on this board. You must introduce some pseudoethnic content with cleverly disguised xenophobic overtones and a sprinkling of jingoistic flavor to be taken seriously. [ .....and you being from Regina and all........]

And Bryan Burke said this week that his error when he was with the canucks was to not have players from quebec... I mean everyone in Canada knows what it takes to win a cup.

His skating is much better than people believe he does not look as fast because he is lanky but he is faster than Bonk thats for sure.

I'd consider Higgins and Komisarek to be honorary Canadians. At least they speak English as their mother tongue.

Well let's get all the trash bag canadian over the league for going to the cup

The only important factor is the heart and the talent not the nationality.....

I don't remember what's the expression for it, but I just wanted to get flamed

Each time someone says we need more Quebecers, people will answer by saying those we have (Dandouillon) sucks....

EDIT: About Gorges, I think he's not strong enough for the nhl however. Same problem as Streit...
