Gaborik in the Offseason

I couldn't find anything about Gaborik in the off-season, but could some Minny fans tell me whether or not he's planning on conditioning himself more or better so that he doesn't get injured at the start, or at least so the likelihood of that happening is less.

Yeah, actually he is. He has already started a "better" offseason training so it won't happen again. *knock on wood*

The management is making him. The Strib wrote an article about it sort of recently. I'll hunt around for it.

Sorry to double post, but for some reason I don't seem to be allowed to edit my posts.

The first part of that article talks about Gaborik's offseason this year.

Was there anything about fighting knife wielding nazis in that article? That appears to be Branko's offseason training program.

Thanks a lot for the article. He's explosive beyond belief and it's a shame he's injured a lot at the start.

That training program is still in development. I know some of the guys involved in trying to set it up, and they wanted to be careful with who they used in the proof of concept as they weren't sure they could count on the nazis to back off if things got career-threatening. Early results look promising, although the knifing was an ad lib and they aren't sure they want to go down that road.

They need to bring Boogey over for that training seminar. Might have to triple the number of nazis to make it fair, but hey, whatever it takes.

No problem. I will be interested to see if this helps him to stay healthy.

What team are you a fan of?

I'm a Toronto fan...but there is all this hype about the Hossas and what not but this guy will put up 50 goals consistently, I mean when he plays it's basically a countdown to when he gets a goal or a point.

I just want a full season of him so I can really see what he can do. So far the only reason I'm hesitant to say hes one of the best players in the league is that no one knows if he would hit a slump at a part in the season beacause of his injuries. Be nice to see MN start getting some of the repect they deserve.

In my eyes Minny has always had respect...I mean they're pretty much Canada in the sense of their passion and that is awesome in my books.

Thank you, Masona5. It's easy for us to have passion for the game, lots of ponds to play on, and many good players in the state. Hockey is the number one thing I miss when I'm at school.

I was just curious who you were a fan of, though I might have guessed since your avatar thing says you're from T-Dot.
