Players like Turris, Voracek, Kane, Esposito and Cherepanov have HIGH potential, all five are capable of being stars in this league IMO.

Turris = a lesser Sakic

Voracek = a more physical Hossa

Kane = Samsonov/Kariya hybrid

Espo = Could be another Ribeiro, could develop into a Spezza.

Cherepanov = This guy screams Bure to me. Maybe not as explosive skating-wise, but is capable of making big league moves at top-flight speeds.

The same goes for most drafts until the prospects prove themselves.

not really, E. Johnson and Staal were both sure fire prospects last year. the year before had Crosby and Jack Johnson. Malkin Ovechkin the year before. Staal, Vanek, Horton the year before that.

This draft does not have any premier players at the top. In any of the last 4 years, Turris, Kane, and JVR would have been fringe top 5 picks. IMO
