My two homer picks:

Montreal-Toronto: Could be a blowout, could be a nailbiter. Nonetheless, the atmosphere at the games would be worth it alone.

Montreal-Boston: If anything like the series two years ago, would be great.

As for other series

Colorado-Vancouver
Philly-Toronto

How come nobody mentions the Wings vs the Ducks. The Ducks are a better team than the last season. Fedorov played for the Wings and now he is with the Ducks. If they make it to the 8th place, they mght meet in the 1st round.

The playoffs will be more exciting in the EC.

Because even with Feds, the Ducks play a heavy trap with a lot of clutching, grabbiing and draping themselves over the oppenents to slow the game down. Kinda boring to watch.

I want to see a Blues/Stars series.. Two talented teams that play a tough game. Lots of bad blood between some players.. should be fun..

Homers pick:

Montreal vs Boston
Montreal vs Ottawa - Not a great rivalty, but those team are my two favorite teams so...
Montreal vs Toronto

Other:

Detroit vs Colorado (not first round but...)
Colorado vs Vancouver
Dallas vs Edmonton - Always fun to watch
Ottawa vs Toronto - Ottawa must beat Toronto for the first time

For the SCF my favorite series would be:

Montreal vs Colorado or Ottawa vs Colorado

There's quite a few I would like to see:

Sens vs. Leafs
Sens vs. Tampa
Sens. vs. Avs, or Wings
my hope for cup final: Sens vs. Canucks

also:
Canucks vs. Avs
Canucks vs. Wings
Avs vs. Wings
Leafs vs. Philly
Tampa vs. Avs

Philly vs. Toronto. But not until the SCF's ( ), these two teams nearly killed each other and IMO was the reason Philly lost to Ottawa.

Other than that:
Van v. Col
Det v. Nashville
Tor v. Ott (2nd round)
Dall v. Edmonton.

Everyone forgot about Jersey and Phily. That would be a classic. They hate each other.

Flyers vs. Leafs ---that was one of the best series of recent memory for me.

Flyers vs. Devils --- just may happen if both teams stay where they are in the standings.

Sens vs. Leafs --- they just love each other so much.....

Wings vs. Avs --- most likely to happen at some point this year in the playoffs

Avs/Nucks --- this will happen tomorrow night. 1st game since the nasty hit by Moore on Naslund. I'll be staying up to catch some of this one.
