Why does NHL.com say Toronto has our 4th rnd pick? I thought that went to Pheonix for Johnson

Two fifth rounders though.. And by the looks of things, some good players still available..

Kokkala and Karamnov are the only offensive juggernaut centers left though.

Sorry, WTK, doesn't look like the Habs are going to bother drafting a Russian this year.

Perron doesn't have the speed to be an impact player in the New NHL. Pacioretti has the tools.....but like you said, time will tell.

I agree with you. Picking players the media pimp is easy. Picking players because they got viewtime on national tv is sexy too.

But who really saw Pacioretti play here? Not too many.

I'm still shocked some question Timmins and his choice, while he's been putting on a draft clinic the last 3-4 years. Wow. One question for the doubters: where was Valentenko drafted last season? Now, you drool about him.

Let Timmins and his boys do the job. He's been near perfect the last 3-4 years, which is absolutely incredible. With all the players coming through the system, our farm team is absolutely loaded for the next 5 years, man.

Malone gone, good pick by Colorado. Gratchev as well, couldn't care less about him.

So far we've only picked 1 project and that's Subban (the biatch). I suppose that's a good thing.

Gainey interview on NHL Network.

Happy with having two first round picks.
Ducks win has an impact on thier decisions - traning coaching - new trends to win the cup but at the same time a team needs to have an identity "there is more then one way to bake a cake"
About Bulldogs - great competition great experience and progress for young players
About Souray- well we do not have strong talks with him right now he can not predict how it will turn out.

A lot of people that watched Pacioretti felt he should have gone mid-1st. Sounds like Bernier without the weight problems.
