Set aside the rivalry and the hate towards each other, coming from a Bluejacket fan, I hope you guys stay in Nashville.

Not for just your sake, but for ours also. I love the rivalry and the challenge. No team deserves this. I don't care if it's a top team (Nashville) or a bottom team (Columbus), no team should practically be forced to potentially relocate.

Good luck Nashville and see you in NASHVILLE Predator jerseys forever.

Bruins fan here- I was in Nashville a few years ago & I went to a Preds/Wings game. I had a great time, you've got a very good team & terrific fans. I hope you are successful in your efforts to keep the Predators in Nashville.

Kind of an odd tidbit - I attended the draft Friday night. They allowed people to text message the jumbotron. What ever you texted, they would review, and if they approved it, they would post it on the jumbotron. I know of 5 messages sent asking for the Preds to remain in Nashville, and they would not display any of them.

Not good.

Penquins fan here. Pittsburgh feels your pain...

Back when we thought we were losing our team, the city feared that they would need to call in the riot police at the announcement of the pens leaving. That wouldve been the least of their problems...people would have gone apesh*t. I don't know how you guys are fighting this, but don't be so well mannered. Raise some hell. Call and write your local politicians...we blew up their phone lines and emails...get nasty.

Good luck..I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

New season tickets up 33% from last year. However, only 67% of the people who had tickets last year are renewing, which means its probably down.

Season tickets from the previous year are being renewed at about a 67 percent rate, Violetta said, which is about the same pace as last season at this time. That figure usually climbs as the season nears.

I have a different spin. There are so many good fans in Nashville and it will be very sad to see the team leave. I would not wish a team leaving on anyone.

On the other hand a team going to Hamilton would be such a positive for this league. You know a team moving from Nashville to Hamilton will be well taken care of and you will still be able to be a fan of the team and their players.

Imagine what it was like to go from Winnipeg to Phoenix where the whole experiment has gone from bad to worse. The team Phoenix sends back to Winnipeg is going to have had Gretzky as a coach, money to spend and nobody to give a damn. They will be getting a lesser team than the one that left.

Sory to the fans of Nashville but teams are going to relocate in the US- you may be the first in a while but you are not even close to the last.

Not sure about others but nope. I'll still like the players (even though some of my fav are no longer Nashville Predators) but I'll not root for the team if it is moved.

Bburton beat me to it, but renewals are around where they usually are.

Sorry folks, but this whole sale business isn't having the effect your Mr Burns-selves are hoping that it would. Will we sustain the attendance? I don't know...but I think there's a big case of "back-against-the-wall" syndrome going on.

You've got us, Ghosts. Put the pom-poms down, we're convinced.

Balsillie is a hero, not a villain..and he will have his way. These impartial Canadian papers have shown me the error of my ways. As Chief Joseph once said,

"I will fight no more, forever."

Let's pack it up, guys. Even if we can somehow crawl out of the cotton fields and fishing holes, even if we make it down our dusty dirt roads, these city-fied northborder geniuses have us beat. Let's stick to NASCAR and incest, as is our wont.

And why was this 'message' posted in the "Keep the Preds in Nashville" thread instead of the Predators related media thread?

Hence the witty response. You post your 'message' in a thread dedicated to helping people find out info on how they can help keep the team here other then by buying tickets.

You likely would have gotten a nicer response had you posted it in the proper place.

Have some courtesy when visiting our boards. I'd do the same if you had a Winnipeg board to post on...

You are right. I posted those links in the wrong thread and have now deleted them. They can be found in the Business of Hockey forum.
