Monarchs: Quick and Ersberg Projected for Manchester

This was reported in the Union Leader this morning:
Quote:
Hextall said as of yesterday that UMass-Amherst goalie Jonathan Quick, a third round selection (72nd overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and Swedish netminder Erik Ersberg, signed to a one-year entry level contract in May, are projected to be between the pipes for the Monarchs this season.
Regarding other players offered QOs, Hextall said:

Kanko: "[Petr] still has speed, energy and grit. He just has to be more consistent and we believe he can help us in many ways.''

Harrold: "I thought he had a better AHL season than when he was in college. He plays with his head, thinks the game better than most people.''

Petiot: "He's coming off a tough year with his ACL. He did come back at the end of the season, started strong and then fell back a little. We expect him to bounce back strong.''

Zeiler: "He works every shift and hits like a mack truck.''

I imagine Zeiler and one of Harrold/Petiot will be in LA next year.
