I don't know what was offered but it was a brief conversation that didn't go anywhere. We had trade talks with Edmonton & Phoenix too, but that I think you guys already heard. A 'friend of ours' from around here clued me in.

I can't understand why Philly is so interested in moving pitkanen. He seems to have some promise.

The same page states that the Vesa Toskala deal was a prelude to freeing space to sign drury. So all you Drury backers beware. On another note, if that was the case, and they do sign drury, then my respect for Doug Wilson just went up. Because of that one trade, he was able to set in motion events that landed him two prime prospects and a good center to boot. the only question is what would he do with Marleau?
