Anybody up for Toews' little brother next year?

He could go top 10... trade up and nab him

I guess he's doing great at Shattuck Marie's last season.

Quote:
David Toews, the younger brother of Jonathan Toews, has been a force for Shattuck-St. Mary's in the States and could emerge as a top-ten pick.
Anybody else have anything on him?

EDIT: here's how he's looking up to Jonathan http://news.yahoo.com/s/cpress/20070...hky_canada_u18

Depends on how he plays over the next year. Hopefully we won't be interested in drafting any top ten picks next year.

Hmm? That he's got a little brother? Not sure why that would be suprising?

It would be cool if there was another brother tandem in the league. There seem to be quite a few siblings in the league (Miller's, Staal's, Lundy's, ect), would be nice to see more of them playing together though ala Vancouver.

The little brothers stock has been rising since the Canada Winter Games performance last year. He is a slightly better skater than Jon but a few inches smaller, closer to 6' but he is quite stocky.

I don't think the Hawks would make a mistake by taking this guy next year in the 1st round. It really depends on the pick. I'm not sure he is top 5 material but he isn't that far off.
