I hope Leech's number is retired this season. He is the best defenseman in Rangers history.

It will be retired this season...but nobody knows when just yet. I think it will be against Boston.

It'll be against a team that doesn't draw well. Someone from the West coast I'm sure.

Yeah they did Messier against Edmonton for obvious reasons, and they did Richter against the Wild.

Leetch is from Boston; That would probably be the team. Messier was reitred against the oilers. Leetch is one of the best Rangers Defensemen of all time, and helped them win the cup. One of the best American defensemen of all time too. Hope its this year, now that hes "officially" retired

The Canucks, maybe. I don't think we play the Pacific this season, we played them last year.

Maybe St. Louis so JD can be there.

The Pacific visits the Garden this year.
We don't play the Central.

Yep. That's why Mess was retired before the Oiler game (although that worked out well) and Richter went up against the Wild. Makes the less desirable games desirable.

What less desirable games? I called MSG yesterday and they said they had no season tickets or packages for next year. The guy made it clearly seem like everything was sold out. I didn't think 2007-2008 ticket plans went on sale yet, if anything. Can anyone clarify?
