Is this contract 2 years because Burke is being loyal to May?
Apparently my brain doesn't function then. I see no problem with the 2 year deal. May will play no more than 10 minutes a game, and continue to be a great leader in the lockerroom. Thats all we want from him and he is perfectly capable of doing this.

That's kind of a tough fit...Bertuzzi with Kunitz and McDonald. Not exactly similar styles.

That's Bert trudging up ice, saying "you guys go ahead. I'll catch up."

That's how Luc scored all those goals. Being the trailer due to a total lack of skating ability.

Seriously, I hope Bertuzzi doesn't get put on McDonald's line. What a waste of an all-star center. Andy will get a full head of steam, pull up at the face off circle to make the pass, and see Bertuzzi crossing the blueline ... the Ducks blueline.

Bertuzzi will be able to keep up. He played on a line with Naslund and Morrison, he'll be fine. When he gets a full head of steam, he's moving pretty good. He just doesn't have that quick first step like Mac or Kunie have.

Yes I agree with that, but I don't think Penner is a good fit on that line either. And I doubt we are going after another UFA RW if Teemu retires, we don't have the money...

So I just made a snap at it to show bryz30 re-signing May doesn't nessecary has to mean we don't have room for Penner.

that looks pretty good but getzlaf and perry will probably never want to be separated.

Here's how it's goin down next season(with Teemu not retiring and Scotty retiring):
Kunitz-Mac-Teemu
Tuzzi(he can switch to LW it's not that hard)-Getzlaf-Perry
Moen-Pahlsson-R. Niedermayer
Penner-Marchant-May/Parros
Penner and Tuzzi will switch off during games consistently

Pronger-O'Donnell(Burke specifically re-signed OD to play with Prongs)
Schneider-Beauchemin
Huskins-???
Apparently we are looking at Shane Hnidy formerly of ATL and Jamie Heward formerly of LAK.

I don't think that's the case at all. Beauch has developed into a fine defender in his own end.
