Arbitration dates set

Henrik Lundqvist-July 24 but it appears the Rangers will avert an arbitration hearing here
Sean Avery-July 30
Marcel Hossa-August 2

Quote:
Avery, whose hearing is scheduled for July 30, is likely to earn an arbitration award in the neighborhood of $1.8-$2.2 million. Hossa, whose case is set to be heard on Aug. 2, is a probable in the $1.2 million range.

$1.2 million for Hossa?Tell me again that the NHLPA got taken to the cleaners with the new CBA

Over $1 million for Hossa?America is still the land of opportunity

Just because those figures are in the article doesn't mean thats what they will be. Its going to be a nailbiter to the very end.

Avery sounds about right...

Hossa - no way.

The Rangers should walk away for that much.

Id say 950,000 tops.

Obviously if the Dellapina report is true,Hank's in the fold for next year for $2.5 mill, with long term deal negotiations set to start in January. So what's the cap situation now?

I hope Hossa gets about 1.3 M just so we can walk away from it.
