actually i think this is net gain zero. given we had X amount of season tixs from last if we had a 1/3 increase in new sales, but 1/3 didn't renew......of course the season hasn't started yet so at least we still have time to grow the new sales, while i doubt many folks that re-up will back out(assuming more bombshells are not dropped in the future).

i am looking on the bright side. that powerball is now over $100 mil and that could make me part of a new local ownership.

The renewal rate of 67% is higher than what it was at this time last year, it's still early and a lot of people have not renewed yet but it doesn't mean they won't.

Don't be foolish. People from other cities, while they may not know our situation as closely as we do, are from traditional markets and are NOT to be argued with. They are smarter and less inbred than us. If you argue, I'm going to take action.

If they say our season ticket sales are down, they are right.

People.

If trolls are going to come to this thread and be idiots...let me or Enoch or Smokey deal with it. Please do NOT respond, because not only are you giving them the reaction they want, you're creating more work for me. I'll delete the posts and hand out the discipline...don't implicate yourself.

Anyone hear the ad for the rally? they made a huge deal of it on 104.5 in the 4 o clock hour, and Plaster and the rest of the guys were really talking it up,

"If we hit the number we need, all this talk of moving gets put off, we'd all like to see a local owner, but this is a good first step'

I feel bad for the the actual Predator fanatics, but the fact is, there just isn't enough Preds fans in Nashville.

I can't imagine how bad fan support will be after a couple poor seasons.

Heh, that's what you think buddy. The average fan has been there all the time, it's the corporate buyers that the team has been lacking. Now that they got a major kick to the ass they are begining to line up for tickets.

We had 5 seasons of mediocre teams 1 above average team, 1 good team and 1 great team that underachieved in the playoffs. You act as if we have had a dynasty down here the 10 years they have been here.

Our first few seasons with hall of famers like Kjellberg and Yachmenev, not to mention Berehowsky amongst others, our upcoming season will get nowhere near as bad as that.

Ya, but you expect a brand new team to draw fans regardless of success, just like the Vancouver Grizzlies managed to draw alright at the beginning.

Soooo.....anyone go to the Save the Predators event at the Rutledge?

I went. Good crowd. Good bands, though I almost went deaf from Former (but they were great). Small Time Rockstars sang their Tootoo/Dallas song.

I had planned on going but ended up having to stay at the office for some MAJOR computer repairs. Main server and accounting computer problems meant I didn't get out until 8:30 pm. Too tired then to even think about coming down.

I was with you guys in spirit.

From everything I hear - the event was FANTASTIC!!!!

are we getting a new logo like some of the other teams, or is the jersey style just new? I dont think our original logo could get much better, but Id be interested in seeing some new ideas.
