New season tickets up 33% from last year. However, only 67% of the people who had tickets last year are renewing, which means its probably down.
actually i think this is net gain zero. given we had X amount of season tixs from last if we had a 1/3 increase in new sales, but 1/3 didn't renew......of course the season hasn't started yet so at least we still have time to grow the new sales, while i doubt many folks that re-up will back out(assuming more bombshells are not dropped in the future).
i am looking on the bright side. that powerball is now over $100 mil and that could make me part of a new local ownership.

Don't be foolish. People from other cities, while they may not know our situation as closely as we do, are from traditional markets and are NOT to be argued with. They are smarter and less inbred than us. If you argue, I'm going to take action.
If they say our season ticket sales are down, they are right.

Anyone hear the ad for the rally? they made a huge deal of it on 104.5 in the 4 o clock hour, and Plaster and the rest of the guys were really talking it up,

We had 5 seasons of mediocre teams 1 above average team, 1 good team and 1 great team that underachieved in the playoffs. You act as if we have had a dynasty down here the 10 years they have been here.

Ya, but you expect a brand new team to draw fans regardless of success, just like the Vancouver Grizzlies managed to draw alright at the beginning.
I had planned on going but ended up having to stay at the office for some MAJOR computer repairs. Main server and accounting computer problems meant I didn't get out until 8:30 pm. Too tired then to even think about coming down.

Our new jersies will be unveiled at the rally next week.
are we getting a new logo like some of the other teams, or is the jersey style just new? I dont think our original logo could get much better, but Id be interested in seeing some new ideas.
