yea im talkin about a replica.. but the jerseys are going to be exactly the same.. there will be no changes in the uniform except the material and the nhl logo on the front of the jersey.. and id rather buy the jersey now for 115 and have the letters stiched on then get it from the nhl for 175 when the new jerseys come out and have them printed on like it says there doing for the new capitals jerseys

I only have one that my GF bought me for my B-day. She got it from shop.nhl.com, not sure on the price but it was a replica Lundqvist. Now she wants a Cally jersey so I guess i'll wait for the Reebok sale and pick up a replica for her as well as a authentic for me

are you asking in general...or for the Rangers? several teams have already unveiled their new ones (Boston, Washington) so you can go to their team websites and check them out. The Rangers have not been shown publicly yet.

After seeing that there were no changes to the Bruins jersey, I am not surprised! IMO it seemed obvious that original six teams wont change the jerseys drastically

Um. They changed their's pretty drastically man. They went back to their 70's look and changed the look of the B and added very nice shoulder patches.

Spokes are behind the B now instead of going into it, as last year.

ain't much difference bwteen the replica and authentic outside of a heavier woven material, double stiched elbows, and sewn in tack twill.

I have both. I know.

Most people I know can see replicas a mile away. They just look cheaper to me. But hey, they sell tons of them so a lot of people must like them.

I can spot a replica vs an authentic easily ..... but in general a replica hockey jersey ain't a bad thing if you don't got the cash for an authentic.

On the rangers website it says that Straka will get the other A.

Quote:
"This is a significant day for the Rangers as it marks the continuation of top end, experienced leadership for our team," said Rangers Head Coach Tom Renney. "The combination of Jaromir (Jagr) and Brendan along with Martin Straka as our captains secures our objective moving forward , and with the likes of Chris (Drury) and Scott (Gomez) joining our ranks , as a coaching staff we couldn't be more pleased."
If this isn't common knowledge maybe we should make it its own thread....

Guys if anyone is trying to buy an Authentic Rangers Home (Blue) jersey from Sportsk.com, size 52, they will have an additional one in stock this week... I ordered one and it's too big so I"m sending it back tomorrow...

Just an FYI if anyone is looking to buy....

I plan on buying an "old" Rangers jersey while I can asap. Would it be wise to get a #43 Callahan, or does anyone think its likely he'll switch his number for next season?

I would say wait to see what he's wearing this season... Can't imagine he would change after 2 years....

I know Staal will likely change to 14 though when Shanny retires.
