Penguins win at home

14k on hand to see Pens beat the Mighty Ducks 2-1.

In related news, the apocalypse happened today. A little overrated, IMO.

In other news, Ric Jackman continues to be a big body presence.

The Leafs are looking for a 'big body presence'. Go figure....

Hard to believe how exciting it is to see the Pens win a meaningless game.

I was happy. Penguins did us a huge favour, but I would like to see Pittsbugh do better too.

Great game tonight

Ric Jackman is God. Andy Chiodo is Pope.

Yep....it's great to win any game these days....we can't take any for granted.

What's not hard to believe is the low number of posts in this thread, being that the Pens actually won, and didn't get blown out (outshot the Ducks 12-4 in the 1st)....nobody wants to discuss positive stuff about the team, just mock them and throw cheap shots when they lose....

Oh well. At least we get to go a night without a contraction/moving thread.

I'm impressed with Chiodo's ability to come back after giving up 9 goals......and allow only one. It really speaks alot about his ability to not get down on himself.

I've said it before, Pittsburgh has goalie prospects to spare, and Aubin.

I was hoping Edzo would get him right back out there. Glad he did, and more glad Chiodo did well.

It's great having all these goalies, so young too. Aubin won't be back next year because of his contract but Fleury, Caron, and Chiodo already pro and then guys like Duba and Geopfert in the system.

We're fairly well set in goal

Our goaltending is one of the few things we actually have faith in, that is, until we get Ovechin.

Ryan is Jesus. Ovechkin is John Lennon.
