If the needless and pointless threads don't stop, I'm going to be forced to be an a-hole about OT again. There's just way to much traffic right now to be crowding the board with garbage.
READ, THEN POST - SBOB and I have deleted, merged or closed dozens of new threads this week because they are duplicates of ongoing discussions. If you have something to contribute to the topic, do so in the existing thread. If you are new here or don’t visit regularly, I would urge you to scroll back through the first couple of pages before starting a new discussion as threads fall fast. We will no longer merge new threads in to the appropriate discussion, they will simply be deleted and the thread started will receive a spam infraction.
Folks, duplicate threads have become a BIG problem again over the past few days. Please help us keep this place organized during these very busy times by reading existing threads before posting new ones. Most topics have been/are being covered somewhere on the first 2 pages.
A: Buffalo fans are welcome to join in the discussion, but I am warning them all that any post that events hints of flaming, trolling or an attempt to lure a Ranger fan into a unrinating contest will result in an instant thread ban. Second offenses will result in a forum ban. Please let the mods deal with trolls. Responding to them only makes the problem worse and makes more work for mods.
B: Respectful Buffalo "guests" are expected to be treated with a certain level of respect in return. Ranger fans who want to turn a pertinent discussion into a flame fest will also face the consequences.
Revised rules for the Conf Semi's have been supplanted by the standard forum rules.
Let me stress READING BEFORE POSTING. 1/2 the threads on the board to day are either (a) who's in/who's out or (b) Thank You Rangers. I'm not going to take the time to merge them all now, but going forward, duplicate threads will be CLOSED and linked to the current thread.
Everyone, I know these are exciting times, but you have to read before starting a new thread. Half, LITERALLY, of the new threads started in the past 24 hours are duplicates of ongoing discussions. No more merges, only deletions, do not PM us asking for clarification.

Seriously. If this keeps up, we are going to be forced to start giving points.
Whatever great idea you feel you have for a thread, read the first page of the board to see if someone else already started a similar thread.
