I can go with Ottawa and the Wings, but the Wings will take it in 7.

If that's not possible, how about Wings - Bruins? An original six matchup would be great, and again, Wings in 7 (sorry eightspokedb - you know I love ya, but my boys rule!)

Detroit will come out of the West unmatched IMO. It's so hard to pick from the East. NJ can't go all the way without Stevens, but if Belfour's back doesn't hold up then Toronto is going nowhere. Ottawa has questions in net too. Injuries mean everything in the East!

So my unbiased crystal ball predicts....

Detroit vs. Toronto, and any team could win that one. But what a classic it would be.

Awards:
Devils vs. Detriot with Igor Larionov scoring his only goal of the year to win the Cup in overtime of game 4....

Toronto-Detroit

Toronto in 7, Leetch gets the Conn Smythe and gains the title of "Drought Breaker."

Too close to tell, I'll say any combo between

Toronto or Ottawa VS Detroit or Colorado

Ottawa will not win. Alfredson will look like a fool when the Sens don't win the cup like he promised.

I predict the Devils will pull it together with Stevens and win the Stanley Cup over the Red Wings in 7.

Beginnig tuesday The Devils add Jeff O'Neil, Sean Hill, and Scott Stevens to their lineup, they go 15-0-1-0 in their last 16 games scoring 60 goals...

...then get sweapt by The Islanders in the 1st round

Seriously, I want to see who ends up where before I do this...

Dallas vs. Toronto

What a hell of a series that would be. Belfour going for the cup against his former team. Turco, the former back-up trying to outduel Belfour.

Sundin, Mogilny and Leetch against Modano, Guerin and Zubov.

Domi, Tucker and Roberts against Corson, Morrow and Ott. Corson would LOVE to be playing against the Leafs in the postseason, as would the Leafs love to get their shots at Corson.

The cities. The fans. The media in both the US and Canada would be all over this series.

I'll take Toronto in 7.

In a dream world:

Habs vs. Kings (1993 Repeat)

In the real world:

Red Wings vs. Ottawa or Phillie

I don't think he really cares about looking like a fool...
