How old was Brandon Sutter when Doan entered the NHL?
Brandon was on this team for 5 years. Jordan's been on it for 5 days. Don't wanna start an argument, I'm just saying that it'd be easier for a 17 year vet than a 6 year vet to immidieatly step in and get an 'A'

Wow, you know it never even crossed my mind, but after seeing the suggestion I think I'm firmly in the "give Harrison the A" camp.

I'd be OK with Harrison getting it but I'd prefer seeing Sutter's A go to another forward. That being said, for all the flak/scapegoating that LaRose gets around here, he is somewhat of a leader having taken on the reins at Camp Brind'amour/LaRose, being the longest tenured forward not named Eric Staal, and being one of the only remaining players on the team who's been around for the '06 Cup run.

Also, to throw it out there, who's to say there'll only be two alternates this year? This will be the first year that Muller has the team from the get-go and who's to say he won't go for three alternates or four alternates like Lavi did?

On Welsh...

Chip Alexander ‏@ice_chip

Welsh signed with Canes and played last regular-season game, at Florida. Muller says "he looks a little stronger" and praised conditioning.

Muller on Welsh: "If I was him I would look at the situation and say there's opportunities here." Said Canes need more size in lineup.
