Every time I showed up for an Isles game at the Stapes center rocking a crisp Tavares 91 jersey and matching hat, Kings fans were nothing but great.

Couple years back, they were terrible, and it's great to see the core (Kopitar, Brown, Doughty, etc) go from bottom of the league to the mountaintop. Gives me hope the Islanders can do the same in a couple years.

So happy for Richards and Carter, really sticks it to Philadelphia. I also go to school in Hamden, CT where Quick is from. Definitely going to make a trip to see him bring the Cup.

Right now Jack Johnson is the most upset hockey player not wearing a Jersey uni.

Congratulations LA, it has been a long time coming.

It does give us hope. Hawks did it, Kings did it. Turn arounds can happen. Although we have more obstacles than those franchises have had to deal with in Wang, Nassau County pols, NIMBYs, Quebec breathing down our necks ready to vulture our franchise away.

But it CAN be done. It all starts with signing Parise and/or Suter.
