He played favourite a lot, who in the right mind would play Rome over Ballard, it litterally takes a suspension in the final to have him play Ballard, and by the time he got to play, he is rusty and obviously unable to play up to his potential.
Overplayed depth player, who in the right mind played players like Byron Ritchie or Brad Isbister when the team is either trying to protect a one goal lead or trail by one at the end of the game?
Sammuelson as our powerplay quarterback, honestly we have so many defense option back then, and yet he keep playing as our powerplay quarterback. Very annoying.
His team literally sat back after taking a lead, i am not sure why he wants to do that but this strategy allowed teams to come back and it has happened countless amount of times during the season.
Unable to change in the post-season, we are beaten twice by Chicago, and almost third time in a row had Burrows not scored in OT. Queenville beat AV in coaching match quite cleanly. Had AV not have Gillis as his GM, he will be gone a lot sooner than he did with us. Obviously beaten by Julien in the final as well. The only time he actually outcoached someone is probably the San Jose series in 2011.
