I know it's not a 100% related to this forum, but it's something that EVERYONE should see.
It's a hit during a Junior 'A' playoff game, between the Truro Bearcats and the Amherst Ramblers of the Maritime Junior Hockey League(
MHL)
Dylan McGuigan is a 19 year old, 3rd year Bearcat. Standing only 5'11" and only weighing a modest 210lbs most wouldn't see Dylan as a threat physically, but Dylan plays like a 6'8" monster. When you see Dylan in person he is a physical beast, he's well built and ready to throw these big hits whenever given the opportunity.
McGuigan spent the 2009-10 season jumping back and forth between the Bearcats and the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League(
QMJHL) playing 12 games with the Bearcats and 14 with the Moose before a injury limited his ability to play. Dylan has been fully committed to the Bearcats for the last two seasons, where we has developed into a complete players, playing even strength, powerplay, shorthanded, being used as a top line, checking line, and even energy line type player with the Bearcats.
During the 2011-12 season Dylan McGuigan played all but two games for the Bearcats(50 games) and even playing nine games for the top ranked Canadian Hockey League team(
CHL) and reigning Memorial Cup Champions, the Saint John Sea Dogs, Dylan managed two assisted and 18 PIMs in his 9 games with the Sea Dogs during the Christmas break while most of the a few of the Sea Dogs players where playing for their respective countries at the World Junior Championship in Alberta.
Just show me the hit already
