He talked to Regier today................................. make your own assumption.

He wants Regier to send Grigorenko back to Quebec if the lock out ends. Taking Grigorenko in and out of the lineup wouldn't exactly be the best way to please Regier.

October 25 or 26 seems like an important date in the present negociations. Maybe they're waiting to see what happens?

FYI, it's Nick's birthday today. Traded on your birthday?

Could we see a Huberdeau in a Remparts uniform?

Danault would come cheaper and is a better fit imo.

The kid had a hatty tonight. He he also had 47 points in 46 games in the regular season and 5 points in 2 games in the playoffs. Anyone have an idea which round he goes in? Does he get drafted at all?

Why wouldn't he? A terrible injury is the only reason I could see, and honestly, I don't see that being more likely than for anyone else, he has learned to protect himself since he got nailed in training camp.

Talks are somewhere between early 2nd and early 3rd... I could see him squeeze into first round if the Remparts go far and he plays like (or even better than) he has since he came back from the WJHC. He has overall been Quebec's best forward for that stretch. Not that he has been incredibly dominating, but at some point, being the best forward on the second winning-est team for the last third of the season tells something.

2nd round. He's got nice offensive skills and has top-six potential. He underperformed during the season, but he's got higher upside than a lot of players still. Quebec look poised for a deep playoff run too, with Grigorenko back, so if Sorensen continues this pace, I could see him moving back into the 1st round even.

He didn't under-perform, he was always in and out of the lineup with injuries or sickness and it didn't help.

He has been better than Erne and Duclair since he came back from the WJC. He has more upside because he is a better defensive player than the both of them.
