Glad to read that Abs is feeling better.

I bet most (if not all) the players do actually get flu shots. The challenge is that there are many strains of the flu virus, and the flu virus (like all viruses) mutates. Some viruses mutate faster than others, but it still makes it challenging to inoculate against the flu. When we get a flu shot, we are receiving inoculation against the most common of the known versions of the flu virus. If we take into consideration the mutagenic nature of the virus and the fact that the Red Wings travel extensively (increasing the odds of exposure), it is possible they'd still get the flu from time to time.
