Della Rovere's value is what he brings to your AHL team, and the example he sets for other prospects as to what is expected from them as a professional hockey player, not what he is capable of on NHL.
I think Della Rovere might get a cup of coffee in the NHL, but not much more. I just don't see anything that he excells at enough to get him into the NHL, and he just isn't quite good enough all-around. (And I like the guy, was so pumped when the Blues got him.) He may develop a bit more, and become a useful 4th liner on a cheap contract, but I wouldn't expect anything more than that from him. Even that might be asking a bit much.
