No he didn't answer my question and he posted something that wasn't even accurate according to Milan himself.

Yes he did answer your question. Maybe he was wrong, but there was absolutely nothing wrong in the way he answered your question.

Ashley Madison wants to finance Sidney Crosby.
AM is looking for a sponsorship with a swiss team. They'll pay Crosby, but want to do some ads with him. The ZSC Lions declined their offer. Now they are looking for another teams...

AM hasn't talked to Crosby yet, so it's probably more a marketing stunt.

The only reason I can think of is that Zbynek and his family would be close to the birthplace of his wife Helena (she's from Prijedor in Bosna). I can't figure out anything else.

It is, I don't know why he wouldn't just stay in the AHL. The Dutch league is even worse than the British league which is barely ECHL level

The Dutch league is not much worse, ore as good as, the British league. Tilburg just lost to Breahead with just 2 import players and 3 practises in Holland.

At best, the Dutch League will attract former ECHLers.

David Schlemko has signed with the Arizona Sundogs

The Sundogs are the CHL's affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes. Schlemko played with the Sundogs in 2007-2008.
Not entirely true. Holland did sign some NHL Players in the past. Jason Lafraniere, Selivanov, Karl Dykhuis, Roger Kortko to mention a few. Tilburg also signed quality AHL plauers like Jeff Paul (1st round pick) and others. Level is about the same as the british league

That's just imports, the British players in the EIHL are much better than the Dutch players in the the Eredevisie. I watched GB play the Netherlands in a pre-WC game, and it wasn't even close.

Not to mention, the EIHL has more imports

Maybe he's just looking for an adventure in an "exotic"/untraditional hockey country. It's like a free vacation in the Netherlands and he gets to play some competitive hockey and stay in shape.

It's just disgusting how far this whole story can go. Sure, it would be amazing for any team to get Crosby, but the fact, that some... organisations use it to gather attention ist just ugly.

Glad that Zurich declined the offer and I hope, that every other team does it as well.
