Steve Thomas is horrendously underrated here. I think he'd have been my vote. Him or Hunter. Lemieux was a good player, but he wasn't *that* good for the majority of his career. He had a few banner seasons and a couple of incredible playoffs, but he wasn't a player who had the same kind of impact that either Thomas or Hunter did over the long haul.

Roman Cechmanek is the reason I wear #32

He would purposely try to make saves with his forehead, it was called the Headmanek or The Cranium Carom.

He came in second in voting for the Vezina, won the Jennings trophy, and finished 4th in Hart trophy voting.

He also put up years of 2.01, 2.05, and 1.83 GAA with .921, .921, .925 SV% respectively.

Too bad he was a "head case"
