Seriously though this is the Darryl Sutter that Calgary Flames fans fell in loved with and created the in sutter we trust saying.

He's sold the Kings on this system like he sold the underdog Flames in 2004.

Your team looks great, they're lots of fun to watch, and the Canucks are being badly outcoached.

Here's hoping that you guys close this out on home ice.

Nah, you guys should just hire Terry Murray. He's just like Sutter. Dozens of Kings fans said so right after is was announced that Sutter had been hired.

I think Tambellini is more than enough to delay that team. Unless they find a real goalie, not to mention a half ass D, they won't amount to much.

I know some of you like to joke and trash a coach/player because it seems like the cool hip thing to do on the Internets but in all honesty ... Terry Murray is exactly the type of coach a team like Calgary and/or Edmonton could use ... just like with the Kings, he will teach DEFENSIVE RESPONSIBILITY and help a YOUNG TEAM learn structure and both those teams need that desperately.

I'll grant you he's not the guy to put it all together and take a team far in playoffs, never really worked that way for him in LA, Philly or Washington despite having some modest level of success along the way at each stop, but to turn a young struggling team around, like Edmonton IS and like Calgary SHOULD be during what should be a rebuild for them, time to do it Flames fans, he's the right guy IMO.

Sutter is probably the best coach the team has had in, well...a long time. Both in terms of actually being qualified for the job and what he has brought to the table. Sorry, we'll keep him
